Rules/Sanctions

Attendance at Fingal Community College implies acceptance and compliance with the school requirements that full uniform must be worn every day. A parent/guardian will be invited to discuss and resolve the matter with the Principal/Deputy Principal or Year Head, in a situation where a student frequently attends in less than full uniform.

  • A student missing any item of the school uniform must report to the school office on arrival at school.
  • He/she must have a note from a parent/guardian explaining the reason why uniform is incomplete.
  • This note will have to be signed by the Principal, Deputy Principal or Year Head before the student can proceed to class.
  • In the absence of a note, an in-house sanction will be applied.
